Our XTRAOAK brand offers the highest quality oak alternatives made exclusively for the wine industry.

Our knowledge is based on 25-year production experience with Canton Cooperage and the specific know-how of Lamothe-Abiet, a French company specialized in oenological products.

We select the best cooperage-grade oak woods from France and USA and we air-season this oak up to 36 months.

In our XTRAOAK production facilities, we insist on the highest quality production practices. The careful and accurate handling, fabrication and toasting of all XTRAOAK products insure a consistently fine product for our customers.
Our XTRAOAK R&D teams, in France and in the USA, are exceptionally knowledgeable about the chemical properties of oakwood. In their research, our team gives special attention to the effects of oak air seasoning, oak toasting, and the oenological outcomes of oak use with wine.
